Difficulty opening one door

Has anyone noticed that some doors are harder to open than others? The driver’s side rear door on mine requires a longer / firmer handle pull than the others. It also rarely soft closes. I’m wondering if there’s something wrong with the soft close mechanism on that side.

Also, to confirm, it is intended behavior that not every door soft closes every time, yes? If you close the door with moderate or more force it just regularly closes. In order to get a soft close you have to be really gentle when you close the door.

Sounds like that door needs service.

Correct. You can always close them like a regular door if you want to.

I haven’t noticed any soft close issues but my front passenger door definitely requires more of a real pull on the handle compared to the others which basically open with just a touch.

Same here, front passenger requires a firmer full to open compared to other doors
