Got my gravity… overall 9/10

Day 2. Very happy but minor issues. Can’t get in with just the phone. Driver mirror doesn’t go down when backing up. … and no Netflix!

So overall minor gripes but what an amazing car: happy with purchase

Did you go into the settings and turn on the setting to have the mirror lower when you put the vehicle in reverse? If not check the manual for step by step directions. Mine works every time. As for the other two items those are not features for the vehicle stated by Lucid. They are working on the ability to use your phone to drive TBA.

In fairness, the intro video to Gravity does sort of imply Netflix. Though they’ve never mentioned it anywhere else. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they eventually add that.

Only the passenger side mirror is intended to tilt when in reverse, per the manual. This confused me at first too.

It is a "coming" feature. Lucid even highlighted it a while back with videos on social media and YouTube (without mentioning it wasn't available yet which caused a bit of a stir).

I believe it is standard with most cars that only the passenger side mirror tilts down. At least that's how my last six (luxury) cars have been.

Both my Tesla and mdx hybrid have both mirrors go down. It’s hard to go back

Agreed. Passenger side tilts down so you can see curb when parallel parking. Driver side stays normal so you can see passing traffic and avoid dooring a cyclist or swinging your nose out into passing traffic as you parallel park. If you need to look at drivers side for curb while parking, you are probably illegally parking.

Or parking on the left side of a one way street, which I often do.

My Porsche did the same thing. It's pretty standard.
