From Ordered to In production

My Air GT showed "In Production" until after it was delivered, so I think it is hard to rely on the status shown on the web site.

You also may have gotten lucky and be getting a GDE someone cancelled on but was going into production already. They didn’t really prioritize GDEs if you read the forums - perhaps due to parts issues.

When I ordered, my SA said there are 6 GDE open to order. I am curios what # this will be ...

They don’t product them in serial order. So, you could get 162 or 228 or 402 or whatever…but yes, would love to know what your number is when you receive it.

Will do. Are you working with Anthony? He let me know a couple of weeks ago expected before end of the month, so this week (fingers crossed), but it's been pretty quiet thus far . . . (morgan hill here)

I'm working with Victoria. I've not had that update as to month end. That would be shocking and nice at the same time.

Here's the latest from Anthony this afternoon:

"Your Gravity is on track for delivery in early November at our new San Jose Delivery Center! . . . Let’s connect soon so we can get everything set up and have you take delivery right on time."

reaching out to my rep now based on that news. Congrats - that is excellent news.
 
My DE is #411. on the latest software. had zero issues driving home 1,5hrs. on the last 30ft pulling into my drive way the car lighted up like a christmas tree: rear wheel steering error, headlight error and steering assist error. The steering wheel was heavy for sure. Everything went away after getting back in and I drove around the block, no errors. The head light error pops in and out but they seem to work.

Did anyone actually go to service with the headlight error and did they do anything? not worth going in for now, I feel a lot of people reporting the same software glitches?!

Congrats on the car!!!

I don’t think anyone has actually had the headlights need service. It’s been a pretty common random error that’s a bug and it’s one of the few that seems to remain in 3.3.5.
