For any (legal ?) reason the Lucid logo is turnd off in Europe. Is there any hidden settings to turn it on again or connect it to other lights so it is on the whole time, when the car is on?

Mine went out, but the led bar also went out and the unit had to be replaced.

Als potentieller Air-Fahrer finde ich das auch sehr schade. Sollte eine Reaktivierung der Beleuchtung technisch möglich sein, würde man damit leider definitiv die Zulassung verlieren.
Iich hatte mir den Lucid Air in München (Odensplatz) angeschaut und auch eine Probefahrt gemacht. Kann ihn mir gut als Nachfolger meines BMW vorstellen, weshalb ich hier im Forum mitlese.

As a potential Air driver, I also find this a real shame. If reactivating the lights were technically possible, it would unfortunately definitely lose the vehicle's registration.

If it would be legal, I can´t imagine any reason why Lucid still deactivates them. Do you have any proof that it is legal because the article I posted says the opposite?

I did some further research. In the EU, you can illuminate max. 2 Symbols, L U C I D makes 5 Symbols. Further more, the whole sign must be max. 100 square centimeters. That is very small, for example a square with an edge length of around 4 inches.
So there are two reasons why ist is NOT allowed in the EU. What you do with your car is something else....and I would understand you because I also really like the illuminated logo.

They told me the whole bar is different in Europe, but I can't believe it. So I asked them to sell me a US bar, but they won't. So if it's really a different bar, I need someone from the US purchasing the bar for me. But I think it's just disabled in the firmware of the car. It wouldn't make any sense to build 2 different bars if you can just disable the LEDs in the firmware.
