I don't think it's a surprising statement. Many people find the things they're most passionate about also have obvious flaws. Ask me about my romantic relationships over a drink sometime.“Best car I’ve ever owned” and “30% of my ownership it has been in for service” seem like diametrically opposed statements to me.
Let us know how it goes... I'm also curious if it fixes the prolonged black screen problem (which I don't think they've publicly acknowledged so I doubt it would be in the release notes).Currently updating.
I’m guessing we are going to be utilizing the same mobile tech. Our mobile tech, who was here last week on one of his now-regular visits to our Gravity said he and the techs in his region haven't even received what they need to do the fob work related to the prior update.
He's coming again next week for yet another repair, so I'll see where things stand then.
Fortunately that's just some graphic designer, which to be fair to them have done a pretty good job in most of the visual elements of the Lucid UI/UX infotainment and app overall.Started the 3.3.5 update half an hour ago. Currently at 50%. I wonder how much time the developer spent on the cute graphic?
I'm not guessing though, that's what I was told by an exec at the Lucid San Jose grand opening. One lesson I have learned from 15 years as an engineer on consumer software projects with a large audience is that random people online rarely guess correctly about what is causing any particular issue or what the correct solution is.
It would be fascinating to know the actual story behind these fob issues though!
Haven’t really checked it in earnest since most of the common issues need to be tested over time. It did not fix the other issues that my car has so I’m going to schedule service for it now that the update has happened and my issues persist.Let us know how it goes... I'm also curious if it fixes the prolonged black screen problem (which I don't think they've publicly acknowledged so I doubt it would be in the release notes).
Different strokes for different folks. I said what I said.“Best car I’ve ever owned” and “30% of my ownership it has been in for service” seem like diametrically opposed statements to me.
Yep! Just checked the app, and 3.3.5 is sitting there waiting for me to install. I'm goin' for itI just got notified that 3.3.5 is available for my Gravity. Anyone else get the update? It says 45 min to install. I'm currently charging my car and have places to go later so I probably won't install it until I'm back home later this evening.
Definitely call ahead. So I drove into the studio (I live like 5 min. away) to see whether they can just update the keyfob for me right then and there. Turns out—they can't, and all the techs went home already on a 5pm on a Friday. Looking to schedule a mobile service call instead, hopefully some time next week.
