21" Tire Dilemma - all seasons

Tire Rack isn't listing any options. The OEM tires have only gotten more expensive over the years... From around $425 to $537 for the rear option before tax and installation.

The "maybe" for All Season or Winter options seems to firmly be a "no" after 4+ years of waiting.

Noted however I was questioning if using 255s on the fronts and 275s on the rears (vs. 245s and 265s) would be an option. Tire rack isn't going to show that but on my 2019 Audi S5, I had a similar issue and I was able to have Costco install slightly wider tires to get all seasons. Was wondering if anyone had done that on the 21" lucid wheels

I was hoping by now someone would have tried the Michelins 255 / 275 combo. Getting ready for a road trip in a few weeks thru Colorado and New Mexico, would like all seasons on car before we head out.

I think you should try it and let us all know!

First hurdle will be getting a tire shop to agree to "Non-Standard Size" Both Costco and Tire Rack give an online warning
Hope to go in person this weekend.

Costco let me put 10mm extra wide tires on my Audi S5 Sport back a couple years back. I'm more nervous about them letting us use 98 load rating instead of the 99 on the OEM Pirelli's for the fronts. Rears I think are no issue.

Dang it , I didn't catch that detail... and already have the 2nd set of wheels :(

1653lbs vs 1709 .

OK so nothing in the Frunck

Your second set are also 21"?
Yes, off a Grand Touring.

Went to Discount Tire / Tire Rack shop this morning.
Not an in-stock item.
Needed a manager to order, wait till Monday
They will mount them but not install on the car due to the 98XL not 99XL.

I think I'm going to order some 20" wheels and try to sell my 21" so I can get all season tires. Big miss on Lucid not pushing at least one tire company to give us some kind of option. Having two sets of wheels isn't that feasible for me.
