I got a 2025 Air Touring about a month ago, so far I love it. Will write a more detailed post on my experience later, but in the meantime wondering if my battery performance is pretty typical.

See below. I am getting about 3.1-3.2 mi/kwh so far, which doesn't seem great. My driving is almost all commuter, ~10 miles per trip. I use my iPhone to lock/unlock the car and keep the app running at all times. I also have the car hooked to wifi at home.

Frankly, I can charge overnight pretty regularly so the mileage is not a huge factor for me, but want to make sure I don't have a larger issue with battery drain that I should address. Thanks!

Lucid says it takes 2,000 miles of driving for the car to settle in and start showing maximum efficiency.

I'd say your efficiency is similar to most Touring owners. They lose a bit of capacity after about 2,000 miles, but efficiency seems to be about 3.2 - 3.4 mi/kwh. Of course ambient temperature and your use of a/c affect your range. Most importantly, your inability to keep the car down at where near the speed limit affects your efficiency. Finding an owner who can show such restraint is as rare as a unicorn. :) Enjoy.

I have about 7,000 miles on my AT, and I'm doing better than that: averaging about 4.1 mi/kwh. Most of those are city miles, but not terrible stop and go. Maybe 25% highway miles averaging 70-75 mph or so. I'm in Northern CA, so driving mostly in moderate temps with some AC use and some heat last winter.

For comparison’s sake, I just did 120 mostly highway miles at no less than 70 and higher than I’d care to admit here and I ended up over 4. But I’ve got a 2025 Pure.

Appreciate the responses. I’ll update back in another month or so. And yes, inability to keep the car at the speed limit is probably not helping :)
