Hello Fellow Lucid Owners,

A lot of you like me have been early adopters of Air and effectively would be soon running out of free EA charging. For folks who are now paying for DC fast charging, do you have any tips/recommendations for charging so that costs dont end up blowing up?

Mine ran out a 6 months ago. I regularly drive to VT for skiing. While I can now go without charging the winter I do need some charging. Don't really follow the pricing nor join any plans. Just stop somewhere convenient and take on 10-15kw-hr, enough to make my destination no more. The difference between cheap ($5) and expensive ($10) is not worth any possible inconvenience. The DCFC is a very small part of my overall usage.

Used EA 350kw chargers to charge for the past 1.5yrs. Have an EA premium account to save 25% off of the displayed price on the charger. You will need to scan the app first before plugging in to receive the discount. Removing the credit card on file with Lucid will allow you to plug in first then scan the phone app. EA has a flat rate here, other charging companies change rates depending on the time of day so check them before charging as they can get expensive. Avoid the pay for time chargers as charging speed can vary and be very slow making it very expensive.

Ionna chargers are the best bargain in my experience. They are growing extremely fast, and most chargers are 400KW. There are two in PA https://www.ionna.com/rechargeries/find-a-rechargery/?filter_address=pa&filter_radius=

I have had very positive experience with Rivian charger. These seem to be located at prominent highway locations and are generally only for inter city travel. I don't know if Rivian has any plans to build chargers in town centers.

I recall reading something a while ago about Lucid negotiating with EA for discount, but haven't heard any announcement.
Also, wondering if there's any significant difference in pricing among the numerous DCFC brands in California.
