First off, let me say that I love this car (GGT, AG, Tahoe, 20/21, 7 seats, all of the upgrades except HUD). The production quality, fit, finish, ride, responsiveness, sound system, exterior design, and interior finish are all fantastic. I’m so excited to finally have it! And now I want to drive everywhere (which is not great because Philly is a very walkable/bikable city). :)

Also, knock on wood, other than a very minor hardware issue that was corrected on the spot at delivery, no issues thus far.

But coming from an MS there are a few things that are noticeably absent and hopefully Lucid will address via upcoming software updates. The delivery specialist actually suggested that I post this because Lucid HQ employees read this forum. So here we go.....

1. Turn off mirror unfold on unlock. This is a big one. I had to remove part of my garage wall so that the passenger side mirror doesn’t smack into the wall when I unlock the car. This was a simple on/off toggle in the MS.

2. Front collision warning. I have this setting turned on, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Or at least it isn’t nearly as sensitive as it was in the MS. I have been unable to trigger it at all thus far. It was very sensitive on the MS and I really appreciated it because it definitely helped avoid rear-ending the car in front.

3. See through the side view cameras while backing up. The overhead view just isn’t as helpful when backing up through a tight space. It would be much better to see the views from the side view cameras. I used this view all of the time on the MS.

4. Amazon Music. I know I’m like the only person in the world who uses this for music streaming. But I like the UX. The MS did eventually get it, I want to say maybe 2022 or 2023.

Thanks!

I miss radar superimposed on the navigation map. I’m on the road a lot and it’s a great feature. Adds to safety too. I also miss the beep when a traffic light turns green. Of course in most ways my AGT is far superior to my S, but I want to see Lucid keep innovating.

Agreed! Although there is a similar feature on the GGT if you have DreamDrive - you can get an alert when traffic in front of you moves forward. Not exactly the same as light turning green, but close.

This is a simple on/off toggle in the Gravity too - it's a little annoying because it isn't automatic, but if you swipe down from the top of the pilot panel (for the quick functions view), you'll see 'fold mirrors' right there. They'll remain folded at low speeds until you unfold them.

Mine works, but I'll be honest that I haven't tested it with, ahem, gusto yet.

You can change the view/angle; tap the various camera icons on the overhead view, or just drag it around.

Both of those are cool features; the green light beep is neat, though I find it annoying. I can definitely see why people like it though.

Weather radar on the nav? That's neat! Would be helpful for road trips.

DD Pro lists Traffic Light detection. Hopefully coming in a future OTA

I have Dream Drive Pro in my Air GT.. will I be getting DD Pro 2?
DreamDrive 2 is in the Gravity. The Air has DreamDrive, which will get many of the same features, but is not technically DreamDrive 2.

Are you sure about the mirrors? Can you try this - fold the mirrors and park very close to something like a wall on the passenger side. Lock the car and walk away for a few mins. Come back and unlock the car. My experience (and everyone I’ve talked to at Lucid has confirmed that this is the intended experience for now), is that when you unlock the car the folded mirrors will automatically unfold. The passenger side mirror will smack into whatever you parked next to while it was folded. In the MS, there was a toggle to prevent this. It was something called “mirror autofold on/off”. The workaround for now in the Lucid is to turn off autolock and then don’t lock your car. When you return you won’t have to unlock it and the mirrors won’t automatically unfold. But for now, when you unlock a GGT if the mirrors are folded, the will automatically unfold.

Ohhhhhhh now I understand what you’re talking about. That must be a really tiny garage!

And I thought I had a small garage, yeesh.

When I test drove the Tesla’s, this feature stood out to me the most! Loved the idea as I’m often on my phone at stop lights. Yeah I’m that guy. Sometimes.

Another great feature that EQS has… leave your phone on the charger… open the door, “Excuse me it looks like you may have forgotten your phone.” VERY HELPFUL! Should be an easy one to do too.

This exists! But it's just a little pop-up on the left cockpit pane, which isn't very noticeable and blends in with the 10000000 other pointless notifications. (I am *still* getting "Software update sucessful" notifications ad infinitum...)
