Thought I might share a bit from the other side of the world!

I have never driven a Lucid and only ever saw one Air on the road here in Belgium on Belgian plates.
So all I have to go on is every possible video/review I could find on Air and Gravity, and random online posts and threads. (super positive videos, mixed threads...)

I placed my order today and got a call from sales in the Netherlands (yes, they don't even have an office/showroom in Belgium, yet...).
Hopefully I will be able to go for a test drive in the coming months to make sure I haven't jumped the gun too soon...
According to him, deliveries in Europe should start in Q1 2026. Seems a bit optimistic?

Owned mostly ICE cars and 2x Tesla Model S in the past.
Poor quality, noises, limited help from aftersales, and difficulty getting in touch with them made me sell both Teslas after about a year.
Currently driving an LR Defender P400e that I love but is expensive as a company car for me privately.

I will have to wait and see if it's import of a new car from The Netherlands for me, or maybe by then they will be registered as a Belgian company.
There are a few Air's riding around in Belgium, considering the price of these cars, I assume most of them are company registered.

I am the owner of the second Lucid in Belgium.

In December 2020 I reserved my grand touring. For test-drive, I went to Hilversum in February 2023, than as soon as possible, august 2023, I placed the order. September 2023 was the delivery of the car.

Hoping for a dealer in Belgium this year end, Hilversum is good but far.

I got a call from Lucid NL very fast after placing my order.
He sent me his number and now we communicate over Whatsapp.
I made a change to my configuration, sent it to him, he adjusted it a few moments later.

Very positive experience until now.

I finally got a reply from a sales representative from Lucid NL (Hilversum)
According to his information the Gravity can now be seen in the Lucid studio in Hilversum. Starting somewhere November it should be possible to book a test drive
He also said that Lucid would open a studio in Belgium 'somewhere beginning 2026' but he was not able to provide a specific date

@Syro : any update on your order ?

From my side : I had some mail conversation with Benjamin from Lucid NL (Hilversum) in October. He indicated to me that the Gravity would be available for a test drive in Hilversum starting somewhere November 2025. He would mail me once a test drive was possible but I never heard back from him.

I was hoping that Lucid would be present at the Brussels Motor Show (which started last Friday). Last year they were present (with the Lucid Air on display). But I don't see their name on the list of brands present for this year ... that's a bummer.

I am also a bit disappointed that there still is no Lucid Studio in Belgium. They announced in December 2024 (just before the Brussels Motor Show of last year) that they would open a studio in Belgium but that still hasn't materialised. This promise was repeated end of 2025 ... If you want to sell then you need 'boots on the ground'.

I am really looking for a SUV EV. My current car is more than 4 years old and has done enough mileage. The car looks great, the specs are good. But the quality issues, the teething problems and the fact that they have no presence in Belgium make me hesitate. What kind of support can you expect when there are issues ?
