Now I'm running into this issue where a message pops up "USB Charging Unavailable, schedule service in the Lucid mobile app". And indeed, when I plug in my phone, charging starts for a few seconds and turns off.

I tried rebooting the car twice, but it didn't help.

Considering all the issues with even trying to reach service at Millbrae, let alone not being able to schedule that I described in the other thread linked above, I am not impressed.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

You likely have the center console wire pinch issue. Will need service.

His symptoms are slightly different than mine. I don't get the message that charging is unavailable because the car doesn't even know it's there. it's completely dead. Does his key card reader work. That might be the true tell.
 
Pinched wires can cause different symptoms depending on which of the conductors have shorted together or gone open.

I agree the symptoms are different; I’m not convinced the root cause is any different.

Does the center console have anything to do with ado with OTA updates? Im one of the cars with the discrepancy between the version the car shows and the version that the app and the SC shows. There has been some confusion depending on who I talk to in service but there seems to be some reluctance to repush 3.3.1 until I get the console fixed.

Key card reader works.

Sometimes the message about USB charging being unavailable shows up, sometimes doesn't, yet charging only works for several seconds regardless. Though my wife just told me her Galaxy Flip 7 was charging when she took her last trip.

Wireless charging also stops for me, though it may have something to do with the Qi2 magsafe case. It charges fine on my home chargers though. 🤷‍♂️

Have you tried it with the case off. My wife's phone is/was highly intermittent even on our old Tesla's with the case on. Just the bare phone worked as advertised.
 
For wireless charging, the case could be the reason, I'll have to keep testing. A much bigger concern for me right now is wired charging.
 
I doubt that's the issue, but when you connect phone do different devices (like computer) you can select on your phone if you connected to transferring files, just charging etc. I would test if there is any improvement if you select that you connected just for charging.
Also, do you get the same error with other electronics? Laptops, power banks etc?

A better way to test would be to get one of those USB-C cables that have the wattage displayed, so you can tell how much charge is being routed through the cable, and that it's a problem with the USB port and its Power Delivery rather than the cable or the phone/device on the other side.
 
Good call, USB C cables are not build equally and not all are able to deliver the power your phone might be asking. I had luck with Anker cables.
 
Also, could try plugging into back of the front seats and see if those work. If they do, use those for now. Annoying, yes. But will work for now.

I get the wireless and wired error every now and then - but my devices are charging and so I think the errors are bugs as I’ve had them since 3.2.2.

I’d try to get a mobile tech to come. This way, if it IS the center console, SC can order before you have to take car in. Otherwise, if SC diagnoses it, your car will be stuck there until the center console arrives and that won’t be fast. A loaner is great, but it’s not a Gravity.
 
Update 9/25/25: Today, I tried charging my Pixel 10 Pro XL while driving, and it worked. I also haven't seen the "USB Charging unavailable" notification since, although my phone wasn't charging even without the notification previously. At this point, I don't know why this behavior is happening, but I will bring it up with service soon.

It may have just gone away after sleeping for a bit. There are several bugs that pop up and then just disappear after the car gets a good nap.

These are qualities cables that have worked in my Tesla just fine for years. I tried 2 cables.
 
Update 9/26/25: Today, I plugged in my Pixel 10 Pro XL and got the USB charging unavailable message again (it hasn't shown up for a couple of days), but this time the phone kept charging. I don't even know what's going on with this car anymore...

You have a pinched cable in your console. It is causing intermittent problems. Ask service to fix it. Talking about it on the forum won't help.
 
Pretty sure pressing the frunk close button will take care of many of your problems ....
