Any inklings of when the next OTA Update might drop?
I'm enjoying 2.8.0 but I'd really like to get the default audio selection bug to be fixed along with whatever new features they may have coming.

You should contact the service department. They can force a software update.

Is it available in your region yet?

I am not sure … so far all updates have been available. I’m starting to guess this is an exception

Having said, I notice that I have been getting the updates but if the feature is not available in Saudi, it is not just going to work

I will try to talk to customer service and check

Has this been an unusually long period between updates? I see the average time on the website but I imagine that was skewed by early frequent updates. I’m anxious for a few bug fixes

They’ve certainly slowed down of late.

That and the Spotify crashes. But to be fair 2.8.0 was a big update.

I'm really hoping for just a bug-fix release. 2.8.0 was huge, but lots of issues to fix now.

Updates are always a scary proposition with Lucid as they have a tendency to break things, but seeing what Gravity just got in their recent OTA might be worth taking the plunge!

I wish, they fix the profile switch time, camera lag (now it became to common, i have to reboot daily now).
New stuff: Halo or Sentry and auto lane change in handsfree without needing to hit turn stalk.

Have you upgraded your CCC already?

No, it shouldn’t be something we need to spend money on to fix this lag. These are the basic requirements for a car to be advanced, and I don’t think it needs too much horsepower to run smoothly. And I believe Lucid didn’t say to upgrade CCC to fix this, and I guess they can’t say it (I may be wrong too).

I agree with you in principle. However, standing on one's principles can be a very slow path to a solution, if at all.

I think the various lags and lengthy profile switching time are inherent in Android Automotive (AAOS) running on an older CPU with limited memory. Practically speaking, it's likely they will only be mitigated with a faster CPU and more memory.

Our AAOS-powered Volvo has much more severe lag issues than our Air despite five years of software development. Both Lucid and Volvo revamped their infotainment CPU/memory hardware in 2025 in response.

Thats possible, i would like to hear more of this solution from Lucid. Also, it perform reasonable when rebooted.
Also, i may update my CCCU once there is a need published by LUCID (Like required for a feature something like that). I am not against updating it 😊.
As far as i know, the camera lag is not fixed with the CCCU and if it is i may decide earlier update even its not official.

Yea.....what's up with the Spotify issues all the sudden?

Also, anyone having issues with their interior lighting not staying on, shutting off when switching between fan and vehicle?
