This morning Google Maps appeared on the right side of my dashboard screen (similar to what has always been the case with Apple Maps). This was never there before for me and I don’t think there’s been an update and so I’m wondering if anyone else has this. The reason I’m asking is Lucid just replaced my dashboard screen.

It’s a good addition but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to be updating the directions in real time so it seems to be a work in progress.

So strange. On my next trip it was no longer there at the beginning of navigation but after about 5 minutes appeared.

You probably had android auto or CarPlay on. The car does not have the capability to show Google maps.
Yes I know that and I should have clarified it. I’m using Google Maps through Car Play, but it never before showed directions on the right part of the dashboard screen, i.e., it only showed the directions and map on the screen to the right of the dashboard (the one above the center console).

Ah yes, that's just a Google Maps update. Lucid has had the option for CarPlay apps to show directions there for a while now, but at first only Apple Maps supported it. Google Maps added support a few months ago.
