I purchased my Lucid May 20th part of which was financed and paid directly to Lucid from bank and the rest cash. Including tax title and transfer. Received a temp tag which is within a few weeks of expiration. Lucid has yet transferred and paid taxes to my state DMV and now the bank is calling and sent a letter saying that the lien must be put on title within ten days of loan will be cancelled.
I have texted, emailed customer service, Ted the sales person, and the sales person listed on my profile page and none have helped, only to say I am sure it will be done in a few days. That was weeks ago.
Who do I talk to?

I picked up my Lucid May, 7. I was in the same position you were in too. I received my DMV plates and registration by fedex June 19. I know this doesn’t answer your question but might help with when you will receive the dmv documents.

Have you called corporate and talked directly with the folks that handle the vehicle registrations and documents etc.? I wouldn't hang up until you get to the right person.

My SA (Natick, MA) told me their registration people were 60-days out on getting paperwork to local DMVs.

Reach out to Lucid’s main customer support and ask for someone in title or registration. Let your bank know what’s going on—they might give you a short extension.

Anyone have a name and number for someone who can help wtih this. i am in the same boat with delayed registration out of Natick. Thx in advance

Picked up my 23 LAT on 2/27/25. On my second temp tag now and still waiting for CT registration/tags. The current temps expire in August so I hope something happens before then. In my experience Lucid said the hold up was CT DMV’s backlog.

Picked up my GT on Feb 21st. On my third set of AZ temp tags. Did manage to get hold of CT DMV thanks to our local state senator - they claim to have never received any registration from Lucid. While the Lucid Sales and Delivery folks have been trying to be helpful - don't believe they can do anything about this.

Just sent an inquiry last night about registration to Customer Care. Got a notice of FedEx package to be delivered by the 19th and my temps run out on the 20th so it looks like I’m going to be on my 3rd temporary tag as well.

Not sure where the hang up is. Given how fierce the dealer lobby is here in CT it probably has to do more with capitalistic politics than ineptitude at either DMV or Lucid.

Well, I'm sort of in the same boat. Took delivery on my AGT lease in early June in NJ. Still waiting on my permanent registration, title and plates. Getting no response or even acknowledgement from my original SA, my delivery specialist, and a contact in Natick processing center to e-mails and voicemails. Extremely frustrating that something that should be fairly straightforward, is so messy.

I guess I shouldn't feel as concerned sine a number of people here are waiting much longer.

Helps to be an employer and manufacturer in the state. If Lucid had a plant outside Hartford I’d probably have my plates already too 🙂
Do you think that AZ prioritizes Lucid? AZ isn’t exactly known for our great government services so that would surprise me but you never know.

I was just thinking that the issue wasn’t lucid’s lack of timeliness sending the info to the states so much as state delays. But who the heck knows.

You’re not the first person to mention lack of contact from Lucid about this issue. I sent an inquiry last night and this morning I got a call from a care specialist in White Plains, NY to assure me the issue was being looked into and that he notified the registration group and they would be in touch.

I picked up my 2023 Lucid AT from King of Prussia in February but the folks New York are very responsive to my inquiries.

Same here. I was accessed a tax "Late Fee Penalty", of $220, as result. Seems to be an ugly trend with Lucid Title group. Inexcusable...

I know this is a different problem, but it seems Lucid has issues with taking care of DMV matters. I traded in my Porsche 2 months ago and just got a letter asking for proof of insurance on a car I don’t own.

Did you surrender your plates? I think I nyc until you surrender your plates the car is still registered to you

I agree with you about Arizona priorities BUT my experiences with the Department of Transportation have been excellent and I have always gotten my license plate timely. The legislature does prioritize automobiles and I think EVs just slipped under the door.
