Hello , I had this issue with my car today when it starts the battery cooling or the AC system.
The fan starts to turn on and the sound becomes loud then suddenly disappears.
I attached the video showing the sound anyone has any idea?

Thank you Shane. that was relatively helpful!
I requested the roadside assistance and they towed the car to the service will see what they gonna do and will update you.

I hope it all turns out okay! How many miles are on your Lucid? Hopefully if repairs are needed they'll be covered under warranty.

This video won’t play for me. I’ve noticed that this is very common on the forum. Anyone with more forum experience that knows of a workaround, I’d love to hear it!

I’m especially interested, because I’ve also experience the system starting up with much more of a roaring sound, which generally goes away soon – or, if I just toggle it off and then on again, it will sound normal as it restarts.

Unlike Shane, I haven’t had any degradation of its heating and cooling efficiency.

For me, this happened a lot in the winter when I was turning on the heater (either turning it on as I was leaving, or initiating preheating cycle). It also happens sometimes in the summer when I’m turning on the AC, but that seems somewhat less common, and (I think) less shockingly loud.

This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this. Here in the Middle East, the weather is extremely hot, so I’m used to hearing the usual fan noise from the battery or cooling system, even when the car is in park mode.

However, this time the sound was different—almost like something was trying to work really hard, then suddenly stopped. During that time, the cooling efficiency dropped noticeably for a few minutes before returning to normal.

I also noticed that the sound becomes less intense when I turn off the AC system.
