in 10 days or so my time with lucid is coming to an end. I have had zero issues with the car other than temporary quirks from the car play system that quickly resolved themselves. overall the lucid is a great car that offers unmatched range. my only complaints are that I could never find a good seating position and the car didn't drive like a sports car, while it is fast it drives like the big heavy sedan that it is.
I am taking delivery of a BMW I4 M50 which I hope will scratch the urge for a dynamic sports car, we'll see.

Good luck with the M50. It is a challenge to find the perfect car. I hope this one checks all the boxes for you!

Due to its weight is why I chose AT as opposed to AGT. Are you in a AGT currently?

Good luck!

Did you try the Pure, it’s more sporty. I sat in a i4, thought the Air interior was much much better. Enjoy the Beemer.

It's tough to hide the dynamics of that elephant-sized battery in the room on any EV. To be honest, if I was in the market for a sports car I'd be looking at ICE options. But to each his own.

I agree. My GT is my luxury cruiser and for grandkids… And my M4 is for when I feel like a sports car.

Interesting - back in 2022/23 I test drove both the M50 and E40. While the M50 had a lot more power / straight line speed, I felt the weight in corners. The E40 felt more of a driver's car. Hopefully you don't regularly have backseat passengers because that space is pretty snug. Enjoy your new i4!

I test drove and considered an I4 but couldn't get past the look of the front end (different folks have different attitudes toward the BMW front ends). I did think it drove well.

folks here have compared the two. I don't because IMO they are in very different vehicle classes. The I4 is distinctly smaller than the Lucid and belongs in the compact size class. Interestingly, while the Lucid is longer and wider, it is also significantly lower. I would love to see a comparison test between a RWD Lucid Air Pure and a BMW I4.

Enjoy your BMW. The great thing about EVs nowadays is that there are so many choices. We are all different and it is nice that there are so many choices for us.

I wish you didn't have to go; but I hope to see you back soon. Enjoy your BMW!
