is it true, you can't change the Sirius station from the wheel? the arrows just restart and skip songs on the same station. I MUST be missing something yes?

If I have the maps display, I have to select the audio (from the dash screen) and then press the channel button? Is that right? not a serious thing, but poor design for something we touch all the time

It’s the same as all of my other vehicles….the “next” or “previous” buttons on my steering wheel only change the current track/song, not the station.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that as well. It's actually one of the very few things in my Air that I don't like. You really do need to take your eye of the road to select another Sirius station :(

yeah, not my experience. this is the first car I've had in a decade that did this. all the others always change the station. dumb design.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can use voice commands to change the station. You just push the microphone button and tell Lucid to do it. Although I could be wrong on that and I might just be thinking of doing it using Android auto which definitely does work using the Android system

It's because SiriusXM is a different version than your traditional satellite version. It's an internet based version and it actually buffers the station \ songs so if you join a station it often starts at the beginning of the song vs what is broadcasting live. Using the forward button will take you the live broadcast where as hitting the back button will take you to the beginning of the song. On TuneIn for example, using the steering wheel controls will actually change the station.

thanks. it makes sense from a technical perspective, doesn't make my any happier, that's a lot of screen tapping to change stations.

software update, maybe, someday.

someday

You can, it's just hit and miss if Lucid Assistant understands what you're asking. For example if you say "change station to Hits 1" if often can't do it but if you say "change station to SiriusXM Hit's 1" it will. You need to be very specific with Lucid Assistant

It you favorite your stations you can scroll left or right on the cockpit screen with your finger and then tap but yes, still involves extra steps
