anyone have experience with body shops in South Jersey? I have a few scratches on front bumper and a paint chip -was quoted $4k by Karosserie in PA which is insane.. Karosserie repaired 2 scratched up doors and rim damage for me and charged $26k to my insurance!!! took lucid 3 months to ship parts and 3 weeks to fix.. plus horrible customer service.. closest other body shop is 90 minute drive near Asbury Park..

I have used Gino’s body shop in Kingston on route 27 for my Porsche and just recently had bumper work done on my 23 lucid air. They do a great job, reliable, and reasonable. Well, what you get is all relative. I brought my car into Karosserie last year & after being told it was no problem to get moderate work done within 3 weeks, I couldn't even get a return phone call or an estimate within the 3 weeks that he promised the repairs would be done. The guy who runs that shop doesn't even have a passing acquaintance with the truth. I would steer very clear of him. However if, like me, you live in a service/repair desert like DE, your closest options are Tyson's or the guy with the forked tongue at Karosserie. So either 3.5-4 hours to Tysons or 2+ hours to that liar in PA. Not very good options. So I eventually ended up at Rosslyn Auto in Alexandria. Unfortunately, they botched the repair such that the car, which was in the shop for repairs to the driver's side quarter panel and very drivable when I dropped it off, had to be towed to Lucid at Tysons because they could not get it into drive. So the repair, which started in mid-July, left me without a car until mid-October when Lucid was able to figure out what Rosslyn Auto Body had done to render the car undrivable. I think we all kind of assumed we'd have growing pains with the software, but these types of fiasco do try one's patience. Does it seem unreasonable to expect that Lucid could find a way to incentivize at least ONE quality repair shop in the whole state of Delaware to step up & become certified to repair Lucids? I've had my Touring since this time 3 years ago & had expected more from Lucid. Let me be clear - I love the car. What I hate is the way existing customers get short shrift while the focus is on pushing Gravities & the ever elusive midsize.anyone have experience with body shops in South Jersey?
