Gravity GT First Drive and Orders information

Just drove the Gravity GT today as well for almost 25 minutes. I didn't get a thank you gift bag though 😂

Driving Experience

19. DE lease feels like a bad deal even with the $7500 credit included -- 3 year lease, $8610 down (without first month, taxes, fees etc), 10k miles / year, $1999 / month (without taxes), 8%+ money factor, 78k residual value
20. Financing APR with Lucid should be around 6.75% but they are hoping to get more information soon

I really found this platform very useful as I was learning more about Gravity and if it's the right SUV for me, hopefully you all find all of the above information useful as well, thank you! 🙏
That residual seems a bit high, no? If I'd leased my Air DE and gave me a residual of 78k, I'd turn it right back in (open market value on Air DEs right now is probably 50-60k).

I asked my delivery advisor if the DE would include a charging cable. He thought not but said he would check. That was a week ago, and I've heard nothing back. I believe someone somewhere said the frunk seat insert would be included, but I don't know how authoritative the source was.

You certainly get the bear decals on the front fenders, though . . . apparently whether you want them or not.
HUD Display, the upgraded audio. Dream Drive Pro 3 (i think that is what it is called). Pretty much everything is included. As it should be.

Went and test drove the GT today in Atlanta (my SA reached out and told me this was an unannounced event).

Gravity GT drove great! Super quiet, composed, and canverous on the inside (as expected)! Audio was decent, but not class leading (IMO - I think the Porsche burmester has a bit more punch), software was good. This demo had HUD and it looked pretty bad, super grainy - when I commented the advisor turned it off, hopefully that is just a software bug/fix.

21/22" wheels look great! I opted for 22/23, but would have zero issue with these - in fact might even prefer them due to tire availability and sidewall size.

The Yosemite interior looks gorgeous, but the door inserts on this demo were pretty dingy. Made me think about my kids in the back and will be something that requires some attention. Something like scotchguard might protect them from little dirty fingers.

Overall, can't wait for my Dream Edition to arrive - this will be a great replacement for my current EV.

Yeah, just found out about this test drive event yesterday and would be going (as it's much closer to me) except I already have plans to get on a plane tomorrow to VA and test drive there this weekend. Glad for those that are catching it!

My wife and I are anxious to test drive a Gravity GT when one finally makes its way to the KOP Mall in PA. We're leaning toward Abyss Black but we hope the tester is Aurora Green like the one pictured above so we can see it in-person. We're also learning toward Yosemite Purluxe but would like to see the Tahoe and Ojai leathers. The 21/22 wheels look very good as well. Personally, I wouldn't opt for the 22/23 wheels and tires, very expensive tires to replace and they will not wear as well as all-season tires.

The Gravity is at Lenox Square, if you care to drive to Atlanta to see it...I'm not sure you can get a drive slot, but I would imagine they could work you in to see it. Weekdays obviously being easier than weekends. They were not sure how long they would have it though, it just arrived yesterday.

The Tysons VA studio said they were told they’d get their “permanent” Gravity for the studio in a week or two. But it would be in studio only for now and drives. Makes sense to me.

I really like the look of the Yosemite interior. But all the talk about observed tears in the Purluxe seating in various Gravity demo models has me concerned, especially since Purluxe rips on the Air seem to be much more common than in the leather. I may ultimately decide to switch to Tahoe leather just out of durability concerns. It sounds like Lucid has been good about making seating repairs under warranty for the Air, but I tend to keep vehicles for long past the warrant term.

During my test drive visit, a switch from the Mojave Purluxe Premium (MPP) to Ojai or Tahoe leather was subtlety suggested by the SAs I talked with. I chose Tahoe leather. Plus the Tahoe was such a nice contrast to the Aurora Green over the MPP I had previously chosen.
