I just finished charging at EA. I was in the car waiting to get to 80% for the next leg of my trip. As soon as the car got to 80% and the charging stopped, the below screen appeared on the charger. Anyone seen this before?

If I wasn't sitting in the car when charging stopped, there's no way I would have been able to move my car within a minute. I would have been really pissed if I had been charged idle fees after only a minute.

I think this is ridiculous.

That’s pretty quick, but was the entire station full? Tesla’s idle fees start as soon as your charge is complete but are waived if you move within 5 minutes, and only apply when the site is more than half full, so maybe it’s the same for EA.

Edit - it looks like you get 10 minutes grace period at EA.

Nope. I was the only one there.

I wonder if it was some kind of mistake or if it is a new policy.

I guess you aren’t reading it the same way I am - it starts right away but is waived if you don’t move within 10 minutes. Were you actually charged anything? If you move within 10, you shouldn’t see any idle charges, even though the timer started on you right away.

I wasn't charged because I moved immediately. But, normally, it displays a 10 minute countdown. This time it did not.
