First Dream Edition Delivery!

When it came to the question of whether Lucid makes use of that ability to angle each wheel differently, the responses got a little confusing. One engineer said yes, and the other said something to the effect of "we could".
They probably have it programmed to steer like a normal rack which does put the wheels at different angles (the inside wheel turns more than the outside). Maybe the first engineer interpreted the question literally.
Is the rear steer independent left to right? Most (all?), systems I know of, the left and right side wheels are connected to a single rack (one for front another for rear). The rack is either controlled by a mechanical linkage or more recently controlled by vehicle software. With a rack there are usually no provisions to actively adjust toe in/out to compensate for ride height.
Porsche has been using independent motors in their rear axle steering system for at least a decade.

Where is the video of the delivery, etc? I just read 201 posts and nothing? <confused look>
Sometimes you gotta look in new places…

I like the low look, feel free to discuss.
I like the fact that the display shows the clearance not just in inches, but graphically showing the space of the height. Little details like that are nice. My MX doesn't do that when you raise or lower the height.

It should really have a banana for scale, though.

It’s a pretty basic rear view mirror.

That's actually good news for me. I had been trying to figure out the best place to put a radar detector display without interfering with the operation and looks of the dashboard, particularly as the unit I'm using has a separate control module which also needs to find a place. It turns out that the installer can mount the display inside the mirror housing behind the mirror glass on many mirrors. The more basic the mirror, the greater the likelihood this can be done with the Gravity.

@Osyris, what, if any accessories came with your Dream Edition? Frunk cushion included? Anything else of note?
A really cool keychain. There’s a welcome package that will be mailed to Dream Edition owners (which I assume will include the frunk seat cushion), but I don’t have the details of what will be in the package or when I should expect it.

Hi there! Quick question: How is the built quality? Is there any rattling or squeaking? I know the car is extremely quiet, so I am wondering if the quietness amplifies internal noises. Thanks! Congratulations again!
Build quality is top notch. I haven’t found any “annoying” build quality issues yet, which is terrific.

No squeaks, whines, or anything else so far.

The AC is still just “ok”. The decision to have the vents relatively narrow slot style (just like the air) was a poor choice and one I wish wasn’t made, but I can see that it was done for aesthetic reasons. You can’t really get cold air to blow in your face, only about to your upper chest, which makes it seem less efficient as well. It’s a small complaint though.

Could @borski or OP (@Osyris ) show/post the user manual for the Gravity? It might illuminate some of these questions.
I can’t figure out a way to do this. I tried. There’s no PDF or hard copy of it. It’s in the infotainment system and when logged into the owner portal. Here’s some pics of some of the menus on the vehicle though.
