I think they'll have partnerships and it was alluded on the last call that they're in talks with a number of people including big automakers. Lucid just doesn't do anything quickly so just as Gravity is taking 10 years to deliver, OTA's are slow, etc. I expect the intricacies of a partnership would move like a snail for them. Could be wrong, but I also detect some arrogance from Lucid when it comes to their tech \ engineering. They know they've got the best on the market so they're not going to give it away cheaply.
Pro's and Con's to having PIF money. When you know you'll be given cash for the foreseeable future what motivation do you have to move fast? Do you really think the Gravity would have been built on an entirely new platform and share no parts with the Air if Lucid didn't have PIF money? No, they would have slapped it on the Air platform (as was originally intended) and shared as many parts as possible to keep costs down.
