Test drives?

At the NY auto show today they said that dream edition orders should be getting test drives in available Grand tourings at the studios. Anyone hear anything? I haven't had an update from my sales rep since March 27.

Just heard from our Natick rep they expect the demo Gravity in early May. We may be lucky enough to touch it 5/6 when we get our new 19" wheels & tires.

White plains said they would have a Gravity ( Gravties?)for May 30 and 31. Not sure if it’s for just ride alongs or test drives

Natick told me "first week of May". I told him that I wouldn't hold him to that date, but to let us know as soon as we could get in.

Mine emailed me yesterday out of the blue to say they'd have showroom/test drive vehicles "within the next ~30 days".

Just spoke to the Plano studio in Dallas and they still have no clue when there will be a test drive or display vehicle!

It's not great that it appears the dates are slipping again. At the big launch event they said they were almost finished building the showroom models and that they’d be in experience centers in April. But even at the event, the SA I was talking to on-site was hedging and saying “early May.” Now it looks like some centers are floating end of May. Of course a lot of this is hearsay and should be taken with a grain of salt, but it definitely still feels like something is amiss.

Media reviews dropped on time. Marc said at the event in nyc deliveries would resume end of April and there would be test drive opptys after the reviews dropped. Fingers crossed

April seems to be turning into May and May will probably become June. Almost 5 months after production started and they can’t even get 50 to 100 cars in stores.

And there is a great news of possible price increase after May 30th
Seems every time there is smoothing good with Lucid, the market is totally opposite and suppress what Lucid does and Lucid is not good with there timelines as always.

In true Lucid style I expect a handful of vehicles to drop in some showrooms 29th / 30th April so they can say they delivered on their promise. Maybe @borski will get his GDE the same time so they can say “deliveries started end of April” too

All you can do is laugh at this point but man, what a debacle of a launch.

May be 10 total cars will be delivered followed by another launch in sometime again
