Bad luck tonight on the highway with the wife and kids in the car. We hit a pothole going around 70 with a loud enough to scare the family.

When we got back home, I first checked the tire for damage and it looked fine. However, I then noticed the obvious! When it fell off it must’ve hit my rear wheel and scratched the Aero cover there as well. Damage isn’t too bad there but a scratch nonetheless.

Does anyone know the cost of a replacement 21” Stealth Aero Cover? 😑

Check the inside surface of the tire, as well.

Good suggestion. I did check and the tire and wheel seem fine otherwise. No bubbles on either the outside or inside.

Just a quick update: I was able to get replacement aero covers immediately at my service center which were only $35 each, which was nice! I'm glad that the tire and wheel survived unscathed (aero cover notwithstanding). Based on this forum, I had been keeping my tires a touch high at 45 psi, which seems to have saved one from the pothole.
