Lucid Air Features and Configuration Questions

The comment that I might have to sign a waiver made me think this has something to do with crash testing.

Tesla used to make front license plates a "delete option". When we ordered our Plaid recently, I asked to delete the front license plate. This was in a Florida sales room, and Florida does not even issue front license plates. I was told that Tesla submitted the Model S to crash testing with a front plate holder on the car and, in order to preserve that crash rating, all their cars had to be delivered with the holder. Tesla dealt with this by switching from their older screw-mount system to attaching the holder with two strips of foam tape that, with a little elbow grease and a hair dryer, allowed the owner to remove the holder without leaving a visible trace.

As the majority of state require front plates, I suspect Lucid did their crash testing with the cars bearing those holders.

Just received this back from my sales associate concerning leaving off the front license plate frame.

"Just checked with the Delivery team and they did mention that it is dependent on which state you are registering the car. I’ll make a note on your account that you are requesting that and the Delivery team member will assist to see if it is available in your state".

All the best,

I wonder if car will come with a "push mode?" Many EV when battery is dead the can't be pushed. An engineer would have to explain why car doesn't free wheel.
