Rivian Hires Former Tesla Employees To Deploy Its Public Fast-Chargers

Public charging infrastructure is critical to EV adoption. While companies are expanding, it's not enough. Rivian follows Tesla's lead to build its own.

EVGo: ~$181,000/stall
Electrify America: ~$185,000/stall

Electrify America wants more than $700K per station from the NEVI fund in Pennsylvania. That's 3x the cost of what Rivian or Tesla spend on a station, and Tesla and Rivian have more stalls per station.

EA is not making sense, on top of making all the lucrative free charging deals with many non-Tesla EV makers.
