Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

I did make the upgrade. Decision was made November 26 and the car was identified. I formally got the VIN on December 4 and got the car on December 13. Car was from their inventory and was eligible for either legacy pricing (had legacy pricing on the Touring) or full price at 2.8%. They are crazy busy delivering cars so it slowed a bit during the clean up phase.

Oh, alright. Couldn't they immediately give you the VIN if it was inventory?

They probably had the VIN but were just slow in getting to it. I was reassured it would be coming and didnt worry about it. I think delivery by EOY is a crapshoot - would talk to your contacts. Holidays are out there. Will depend on your location vs where the car is. I was confidant as it was nearby. Cross-country shipping etc could be an issue. But talk to them - they do want to sell the cars but there are logistics to consider.

Thank you! Ill contact them and ask for a estimated date. Are there more inventory than listed?

When I did it, seemed like there was - they read off the possibilities as we identified the acceptable car. But it is limited for sure.
 
I now have delivery date scheduled for 12/19/2022. VIN was provided to me on 11/11/2022, but I think my delivery advisor had it for a while before he shared with me.

Exterior: Zenith Red
Interior: Mojave

No VIN/delivery date yet, ordered stealth so not expecting anything until Q1.
 
Got the PA and payment request yesterday.
Dashboard's showing in production.
With the holidays, not sure if delivery can be before EOY.

I actually switched out my configuration. So you can delete the March 8 confirmation date for @Mkavouras. I’ll reply separately under Quantum Grey. Thanks!
 
I modified my original reservation. Reservation date: August 23, 2022.
New configuration for the tracker that I just updated today (and was told that I would keep the original reservation date): Quantum Grey, Tahoe Interior, 20” Aero Lite, Stealth, Glass Canopy Roof. I also removed the Dream Drive Pro (kept the basic Dream Drive) but kept Surreal Sound Pro.

I’m pleased to see Lucid have more optionality since there weren’t any features in the Dream Drive Pro package that really appealed to me. I don’t even use basic cruise control when I drive currently.

Looking forward to staying connected in this community. My hope is that prior to the production/VIN assignment, that all season tires will be available for the 20” wheels I’ve read different things on the Forum. Is my understanding correct that there are currently NO after-market options for All seasons that would work with the 20” wheels?

These should work, as they're the same load rating at the OEM summer tires.

I’m going to build a custom wheel set and I need help.
Can anyone who has accurate spec information about Lucid’s 20” wheels ? including
Hole size…I think it’s 5x120?
Front and back rim diameter…8.5 and 9?
Mm offset…135?
Do they accept a standard tpm sensor?
Is there any more that I need I’m not thinking of? Thanks for the help. Michael
