No voice through Apple CarPlay phone calls

When I make or receive calls through CarPlay there is no voice. They can hear me but I can’t hear anything. Anyone seen this ?

Go into setting and turn the volume up on your phone. This happen to me.

Thank you, I tried that but didn't work, ended up calling customer services, they walked me through restarting the power on the car by going to the Gear icon for setting in the car in going to --about-- and then kept pressing on the word Air on the right for 20 seconds and that restarted the system and it worked after that

An issue I’ve experienced and find that I need to point iPhone to CarPlay, not LucidXXX Bluetooth link.

Your phone connects to the car as a bluetooth audio device and as a CarPlay device. When CarPlay is active, the bluetooth audio device version doesn't work, but it stays connected. Sometimes your phone gets confused and switches to the bluetooth audio device anyway, even though CarPlay is still connected. You can choose this in a call by tapping the speaker button and making sure CarPlay is selected, rather than the bluetooth audio device "Lucid XYZ." Same goes for music or other media playing on your phone, sometimes you'll see a little car icon as your output device. That's the bluetooth audio device again. Tap that car and you can choose CarPlay instead.
