This is very well written EV article. Good article to show people when all they mostly read and hear about is negative coverage on EV’s, especially lately. This is coming from a great automobile writer.

Yes but reading the comment section kinda evaporated the warm and fuzzies for me. So much false information and hostility about EVs that people love to propagate.

Why? The author of this article is always positive on EV’s and probably one of the best automotive writers around and extremely credible (he writes every week for the WSJ). Also - there is another tech writer who owns an EV that writes positive - real life experiences, she always is very credible.

Every media outlet will have someone that is against EV’s (not just WSJ). In fact most media seem to be against them.

Amazing how short memory can be. Rest assured the price of gas will steadily go up and up while EV battery prices will get cheaper and cheaper with ever increasing capacity. Look at lithium prices - an almost 80% drop in price from 11/2022 to 11/2023! And future battery technology doesn't require litium at all.
EVs are inevitable. Yes they still have issues to solve but the march of progress proceeds at a rapid pace - for the good of all.
