Will not charge at home

Alright - thanks all. Impossible for me to diagnose over email, but it seems it's either a charger specific issue, or a problem with the Wunderbox. Given that DC charging is not a problem and the garage chargers are the only AC chargers that seem to be a problem, I'll just ignore it until I get a chance to run it by the service guys and see what they think.

Some older L2 Tesla wall stations will only charge Tesla cars. If you have a NACS to J1772 adapter and a J1772 to NACS adapter, they might allow your car to fool the charger if placed in series. Heard it from another forum member.

This. Older Tesla L2 chargers will only charge Tesla’s unless the internal dip switches are dialed down to limit current, which destination Chargers rarely do. This problem extends to all vehicles other than Tesla - not just Lucid.

It’s not just any NACS to J1772 adapter + J1772 to NACS that will work. It has to be a Tesla tap adapter with a special chip that can handle the older legacy Tesla digital protocol.

Interesting thought on the daisy-chained adapters. In my case it wouldn't work (or work well), though. First, I don't have the NACS to J1771 adapter and second, it's an NYC parking garage. I don't plug the car in - I just tell the attendants to charge it and they plug it in when the chargers free up.

However, I am really starting to think that the old Tesla L2 charger is the issue. These are old chargers. (I have seen them up close). As I am the only non-Tesla in the garage, and I am the only car that has problems charging on them, I am beginning to think this is the right answer. No big deal - the chargers seem to eventually connect most times, and I don't need the car often enough that low-charge quick turnarounds are a big problem. I'll just live with it until they replace the chargers or I move garages.
