First, I must say that the addition of USB shuffle in 2.2.2 has been WONDERFUL. I have a decent collection on USB and was looking forward to this feature perhaps more than any other since I bought my Air last year.
That said, it seems to hiccup after I'm done with a drive and reenter for another. The car does remember what song I was on and resumes from there-- but it seems to be stuck on that album. Toggling the shuffle on and off doesn't seem to do anything. In most cases, though, if I ensure the shuffle is still on and I select another song from my songs list (not sure if it needs to be from another album), shuffle usually resumes working.
But within a drive, once it starts working, it keeps working. I guess that just means I need to take longer drives
