2025 Lucid Air Touring
Short time lurker, first time poster. So I've been driving my 2025 AT in the ND winter and a couple days ago, on the way to work, I experienced "turtle mode" with a drive system warning. I pulled over, shifted to park, did a soft reset and the indications cleared. Thought I was fine but then on the drive home, it happened again. Again, cleared with a shift to park and soft reset. It was single digits and negative temp so I figured it was cold related.

Contacted service and they said they'd have the engineers take a look. The next day, they said the engineers spotted a rear motor issue in the telemetry. Now I am waiting for a transport to the Goose Island service center and a rental car on Monday. Service has been pretty helpful so far.

Anyway, decided to press my luck today, with temps finally above freezing (plus needing to run some errands)... Nope, happened again. It always seems to preceded by a loss of regen braking and a "clunk" from the rear motor. Frustrating that my car with <3,000mi has this issue.

Figured I'd post my experience as data for others and maybe a data point for the 2025 model year.

Update 1: Recieved a phone call from roadside assistance that I missed. Returned the call and they looked up my case number and saw that the tow request was "closed by the provider." They said they had to put in another request to dispatch with no timeline for resolution.

This is very frustrating that my car is still sitting, and I'm awaiting any information. I'm hoping it'll be picked up this week but I'm fully expecting it to be two weeks before my car is brought to service. I've had this car for just over a month but this process is leaving a pretty sour taste.

Sorry to hear that.. First time I heard this happened on 2025 model. Have you contacted the SC directly? If not, I would do that..
Rest assured, once this issue is fixed, you will forgive and forget and enjoy the driving of this car....

Update 3: Seems like a comedy of errors at this point. Tow driver came to pick up my vehicle today and ended up damaging the rear bumper (or under cowling?) while loading it on the trailer, popping a fastener in the process. Reported it to Lucid and sounds like the tow company and them will work it out.

Can't help but laugh and hope the car is back soon. Honestly can't wait to drive it again, but just frustrating at this point.
