Posting this partly to make sure I didn’t miss a setting somewhere and partly to see if others agree:

I wish I could turn off the white guide lines that are drawn on the sides of the car in the overhead 360 degree composited camera view. Between the relatively low res cameras and thickness of the fake lines, it is more difficult than it should be to judge how the car is oriented vs. the actual painted parking lines or curb using that view.

My Gen 2 R1S has 4k cameras and no fake lines and is much nicer to use for properly aligned parking (this is probably the only thing I prefer about the R1S).

What I really dislike is the solid white box that extends forward beyond the front of the car when using the 'down' view. Makes it hard to get the front bumper really close to the parking block, which is often really necessary in short parking spaces with high parking blocks.

Agree 100%.

Also, no, there’s no way to turn off the lines. I actually like them and the way they show space where the car will be.

I've noticed it can lag a little bit too, I almost tapped a car because it glitched out for a second. It does seem about on par with other 360 systems tho.

I’m sure some of it is also my own fault for just not being accustomed to parking this car yet

Th car is quite aggressive with the brakes if it thinks you’re going to back into something. I keep meaning to turn down sensitivity and then I think “well, if I do that, I will probably hit something”…

I don’t notice lag but I don’t like the blackout areas right by the headlights as that’s frequently where I need the assistance.
