Transfer App/Phone as a key to new device

Hi All,

I have a '25 AT since the end of last year. I'm about to upgrade my current iPhone to the new iPhone 17 Pro. I have to turn in my old phone at the Apple store in order to upgrade. What steps need to be taken to transfer my phone as a key to the new iPhone, as well as set up bluetooth on the car? I will be bringing my fob with me of course.

It's a delete-then-add operation rather than a transfer.
Go to your AT's settings menu and delete the old phone's mobile key. You don't need your old phone for this.
Then set up your new phone as mobile key by following the car's instructions, with the fob in your pocket.
Last, pair your new phone to the car's Bluetooth.
