Searching through previous Tidal forum posts, I can’t seem to find anything helpful for a few problems I am having and I’m hoping someone has suggestions.
Tidal creates numerous auto generated mixes under the heading of “my collection“. These are giving me headaches.
First, Many of the mixes just won’t play at all when I try to start them. It lists the first song and the play arrow is visible but no song will start playing. If you hit the play button, it just blinks and resets itself. Advancing songs doesn’t help either. Other mixes work on their own. But this is quite spotty and it is very difficult to get the mixes to work.
Second, the mixes seem to change very little over long periods of time. Any way to force these to change?
I really enjoy the spontaneity of music being suggested by the app rather than me having to play exactly what I want to hear at any given moment. The sound quality with Tidal is excellent, but the native app in the car is really terrible.
I’ve tried switching over to SiriusXM or to Spotify and then back to Tidal, but it has not helped. Various resets to the software have not helped.
