Lucid Air
Please how true is this? I saw this on my Facebook Lucid Forum.

"FYI - 19 inch Tesla Model S wheels and tires are an absolute perfect fit on the Lucid Air with 19 inch wheels.

My family and I are out of town and our car hit a rough patch of road that bubbled the tire and bent the wheel. On this holiday weekend, it’s difficult to find a replacement tire, let alone a replacement Lucid wheel.

After doing research on what cars share the same 5x120 bolt pattern as the 19 inch wheel equipped Lucid Air, I found that the Tesla Model S wheels are a perfect fit. Exact same offset, same hub bore size, even the tires are the exact same size, 255/45/19! So I found a model S wheel and tire, and installed it on our Lucid Air. It’s working perfectly.

Just letting everyone know in case you need a temporary wheel like we did."

Perhaps that was a front wheel. My former '23 Model S LR (Oct 22 build date) had staggered wheels - 255/45/19 front & 285/40/19 rear. The Air has a 245/45/19 square setup. But as for bolt pattern and offset given that the chief engineer for the Model S became the former CEO of Lucid Motors, I'm not surprised.

Hmm OK

Depends on the wheel. I tried some Model S wheels, same bolt pattern, same offset, they did not clear the calipers. Neither front nor rear cleared.

The older tpms will work. But I tried the 19 inch Model S wheels from 2014 (double spoke), 40mm offset. They bolted up but they DID NOT clear the brake calipers on my 2023 Pure AWD.

Unrelated, but it gave me a weird nostalgic feeling for an alternate timeline where the Air was the new Model S and we have a car that looks like the Air out there that has Tesla software. *sigh* In a perfect world.
