I've had pretty good luck lately avoiding the dreaded WHUMP when the chassis bottoms against a speed bump by setting the drive mode to Swift in the parking lot. The dampers are adjusted a bit stiffer, so there isn't nearly as much rebound/bounce when the car goes over the back side of the bump. YMMV...
