anyone else encountering this.. this keeps happening randomly...and only a reboot fixes. if I activate the turn signal, or DDP 'activate' button), the sound quality of the sound system (if listening to radio/sirrius/spotify/tidal/etc) will start to garble, or in some cases go from stereo to mono.. and in one case.. started making the ALL audio sound like it's being played at .5 speed.

Yes, Like a popping or clicking type distortion, almost like the distortion when you get when you plug / unplug analog audio connections right? It's been happening less to me and it goes away on it's own more often than it did in the past. When I asked Lucid service to look into it while I had my Air in for another issue, they said they couldn't find anything in the log files and i should record a video of the problem for them to use to diagnose.

I've had this occur several times; latest was last week. Just goes into the "audio issue" bucket that's nearly overflowing at this point.

The "0.5x speed" example is something I'd encounter very frequently while using SiriusXM. I canceled my subscription because of that and the terrible reception, and I've never had that particular issue come up again. It struck me as something concerning the "streaming" connection, but it affected everything; even the screen tap sound while touching the Pilot Panel would be garbled. Absolutely bizarre.

The turn signal static and "mono-like" varieties do still happen sometimes while using Android Auto (coupled with my DI.FM app).

I don't even know if the car has an "audio processor" so-to-speak. But if my PC gave me this many audio problems, I'd have the motherboard replaced within 48 hours. With Lucid, the service response is "Probably software, so an OTA update will probably fix it." Arguably the most frustrating element is how random and short-term these things are. If they'd show up 100% of the time, it'd be truly reproduceable and a cause could be located. But if you're just sitting at a red light with your hands in your lap, and the turn signal suddenly sounds like it's playing through a two-way radio, how do you even begin to address this? One of my favorites is the volume turning itself up to 100% when I unplug the charging cable in my garage. Who knew there was a mysterious connection between the J1772 and a volume slider?

I thought your discussion of how the music quality varies when the turn signal is activated pretty interesting. It's remarkable how even minor details may influence the acoustic experience in a luxury vehicle like the Lucid. I'm wondering if there are any techniques to reduce these sounds or make more seamless transitions to preserve a flawless aural environment.

It happened to me exactly once (in 5 months of Gravity ownership) on an older version of software. I was happy it was a software glitch instead of blown speakers. A reset fixed it.

I also have not had this problem since updates, seems fixed.
