Software update via cellular vs. wifi

I was lurking on the other forum and read that the cellular was recommended for the update - but hydbob actually managed to use Wi-Fi.
Cell signal is terrible in my garage, so I’m curious if the cellular requirement works out for the early owners.

It's a relief to hear that Wi-Fi is used for OTA updates. The area I'm in has really bad cell reception and wouldn't work.

We don’t have great cell reception either, depends on vendor as some don’t work at all. However, I think it was only the early updates that Lucid was wanting to do it over the cell networks. After those, the DE owners have been saying that the WiFi is now being used for them.
