I just put a deposit on a 25 GT. I was pretty particular in what I wanted and didn't want: I opted for a GT (for range), 19 inch wheels (for range and better sidewall protection), aluminum roof, leather (I just could not get past the cloth dash) and DreamDrive Pro. SS Pro was a forced option as they have stopped making the GT with the base system and the 20 ways and Comfort and Convenience Package are mandatory with the extended leather.
The only car they could find for me - after looking for about 5 days - is in Roswell, GA. I want to take delivery "locally" to take advantage of the $4K "on site bonus". So now I need to find a reliable shipper to bring the car up to NY. I don't need an enclosed carrier. Does anyone have any companies that they have actually worked with that they could recommend? I swear to god that this industry is a bunch of vultures that make used car salesmen look like Boyscouts. I have one referral which is actually a company owned by someone I graduated high school with back in the day. I know she is good, but she is also about twice what the vultures are "quoting" so I was hoping to get another quote from a reliable company as a benchmark.
