scheduled time to charge

So I put my car to start charging at midnight since my house it is cheaper at that time, but it does not really do that, I was reading somewhere that if I didn’t charge at scheduled time and that if it is within 12 hours after the scheduled time that it starts automatically, is this the case?

Yes, that's the case. It's just a quirk that you have to adjust to if you're doing scheduled charging. For me it's even more confusing since with my wife's BMW i5 I don't use its scheduled charging, but rather the scheduled charging of my Charge Point HomeFlex. If I'm charging my Air, I have to disable the scheduled charging of the Charge Point and use the Air's system. Hey, it keeps me on my toes.
