On a recent road trip, Sam’s Club usually welcomed us to use their restrooms and cafe. A couple of locations allowed us in only reluctantly, with words like, “Well, I can’t stop you.” I don’t fault the greeters for doing what they’re told. But I am not interested in buying a membership for the very rare occasions we would encounter this situation. After some email exchanges, I got to someone who responded with this:
