Just drove from Plymouth Massachusetts to West Palm Beach and back. 25-30 hours each way.
The car did exremely well. It's so solid, controlled and comfortable. When we left the northeast, it was 1 degree outside and snowing heavily. No issues with traction in 6" of heavy snow on the road or staying warm. No software glitches at all.
Range was definitely impacted by the extreme cold, and we could see it increase markedly as we drove south. We became pros at using the car's nav and PlugShare app to find the best stations and make sure the car was preconditioning the battery. Watching Out of Spec's road trips really helped us prepare our strategy. I found that I could control the percentage on arrival by adjusting speed really easily. Dropping to 65MPH can really increase your range.
Loved Ionna stations - they were offering .20/kWh for the whole weekend for their 2nd anniversary. Fast charging and convenient locations with Wawa or restaurants. Also great luck at Mercedes-Benz chargers - which were great at Buc-ee's. GM chargers at Pilot Flying J's were very good. We avoided costly EA chargers at all costs. In Florida, FPL chargers (Florida Power and Light) were excellent and low cost.
We only have Dream drive premium with adaptive cruise, but it worked very well. It adapts to other erratic drivers without dramatic braking or notifications, etc.
Over the entire week, we only saw two other Lucid's both Airs and only in a gated community in Florida. People often tailgated us to try and figure out what we were driving!
