Referral code mayhem

I have been offering up my referral code to people who are looking for one. I have been saying that my code is unused, but in my app it shows three people have used it and another person has used it but cancelled their order (I assume that means no points for me). So now I am confused. I thought I would get some sort of notification when my code was used, but I guess that's not the case. I'm guessing these points don't vest until the car is delivered (or paid for?). Is that correct? I think I read that your code is valid for four referrals per year. Is that correct? Thanks for your help!

A notification would be nice. I lost a bunch of points because I didn't even know I had them . I guess they only show up in the app, which I rarely use. So I check regularly now.

Yes, that's right - four per year and no notifications. I also was caught by surprise once maxed out, and erased my referral code from my forum signature.

Yes the app has now updated my referral status and 3 of my allotted four referrals have been used. I've deleted the code from my sig for now.

I concur. You don't get a notice when your code is used. And that's a good idea. I should delete mine for now.
