Rear well cover attaching to inside of hatch?

I recall reading a post about how the rear well cover attaches to the inside of the hatch to prevent cargo from falling out when you open the hatch. But I can’t find that post again or any more information about this online. Help, please? Thx!

the sub-trunk cover can be latched in a tilted angle position. There's 2 plastic latches on the side of the trunk. if you lift the trunk cover and continue to move it upward. it'll click into place, and the latch will prevent it from falling. you can access sub-trunk without dealing with the cover. I guess. if you have small bags of groceries. you can leave them behind/on top of the trunk cover, and in that latched position. it will not roll out if you open the hatch after some sprited driving. Or are you talking about something completely different?
