After 8 months several new issues seemed to appear & disappear just as quickly. Anyone else experience these? In no particular order.

-Got into the vehicle, door unlocked as always & I attempted to put the car in forward / reverse to get out of parking spot & it locked me out asking for the password. After a few attempts w/ the key fob it disappeared.
-Audio system would not shut off. I was listening & even w/ volume in off position music continued to play & loud. Got out of the car walked out of range, got back in & it was back to normal.
-I completed charging the car, I removed the cable & got back in & an image of the car was overlaid on the control panel, also all of the commands had various overlaid text. Pressed the images & they would not disappear. I plugged the charger back it, let it connect for a few minutes. Returned to the car & the overlaid images were gone.

I encounter the 1st problem (asking for PIN) periodically. When it happens, it usually persists for several days. Then, after a few days, it would go away. Only to reappear again days/months later for no obvious reasons.

I am not sure there is a fix. I just curse and put up with it.

All things considered, this is a small thing....but it makes me wonder about all the other SW issues I encounter. How do these things get pass validation and qualification?!

Never had my Air ask for a pin (note I never use the fob; always PAAK - iPhone, which has occasional few second delays, but has never failed).

Audio not shutting off is one of the (though minor) irritations that has been always been present for me. I have to either leave the area when it will stop once the car locks, or press the door handle to lock it, and then it stops immediately. My model S would do this about 5% of the time (stay on with no one in the car once the driver door shuts), the Air almost always stays on. The other thing that would be *really* nice is if the volume reduced when you open the driver door *and* if the audio completely stopped when you close the driver door (and there is no one in the car). My S did both of these, the Air does not. If I mute the volume before leaving the Air (or turn it to zero), it works 100% of the time.

Once, long ago, my Pilot panel graphics appeared up on the Cockpit display right area, I think that was an acknowledged bug and subsequently fixed. Never seen overlaid text where it was not supposed to be.

A reboot is indeed a good idea if some spurious issue crops up.
