I have noticed my Trunk trim piece at the center section (see red Arrow) is spongy, while both sides areas are very tight to the car. When I took the car in today for some other service, the service person said it’s was spongy on some other cars at the SC and that was normal. It does not seem normal to me that they would design the trim to be spongy or springy in the middle section. Does everyone have this same situation or is yours solid to the car for the entire trim piece?
