Hello from the Rocket City aka Huntsville, Alabama. I have been lurking on the Lucid Motor forum since March 2022 to learn everything I could; this forum has been a treasured resource for me. I would like to take a minute to express my appreciation to this forum's creator and moderators. I would like to thank the Lucid engineers, both hardware and software, in addition to Customer Care for your dedication and amazing professionalism dealing with all the challenges that came your way. I saw how the Lucid team went from UX1.0 to UX2.0 (The Mythical Man-Month) in a very short period time. I know that UX3.0 is going to be something special once it is released on Android Auto Monday.

A few days ago I had my Quantum Grey/Mojave Lucid AGT was fully wrapped in STEK Dynoshield. The results were fantastic! The installers fully wrapped the edges of the panels so well you can't tell that the car has Paint Protection Film (PPF). I also had PPF installed on the Glass Cockpit and Pilot Screen. The installers also applied STEK Gloss Black PPF to all Silver/Chrome Accent pieces. Even better I had Geoshield APEX Ceramic 35% Automotive film installed on the four sides windows and rear window. With the chrome deleted and new window tint, my car looks absolutely amazing!

For installation I use the experts at TRC Detailing Specialists in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Tanner and his team at TRC did an incredible job on my Lucid AGT. They kept me informed every step of the way via texts and pictures. I would highly recommend TRC Detailing Specialists to anyone in the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee surrounding regions.

Are the wheels forged? Where did you buy wheels?

They are forged, weight capacity higher than stock wheels, made to order from literally hundreds of available designs and custom powder coated to your exact color choices, you tell them bolt patterns (5x120) center bore size, diameter, offset, all of which I have, and they are made to your order, direct through Chinese manufacturer company’s through allibaba You pay in advance and wait 3-4 months but they arrive at your door. I have made now six major purchases this way and everyone has gone smoothly and perfect. I am extremely happy with all of my dealings through Alibaba so far some for amounts, far greater than the cost of these wheels, which, by the way, ended up costing about $450 per wheel, including freight and duty to my door.

I had my wheels powder coated gloss black and they came out literally perfect. I am super impressed with how they look!!! I would highly recommend XTREME Coatings and Restoration to anyone in the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee surrounding region for your powder-coating needs.

Looking to do something similar did you just pop the covers off and have it powder coated ? Looks good

Yes. I removed the Aero covers and power coated my wheels gloss black.

Finally decided to pull the trigger and get the chrome delete completed today.

Appreciate it man. I so glad I went ahead and did it. Car looks so different now. Next is the wheels. Probably do those in a dark Gun Metallic gray finish to compliment the black aero inserts…

I am now curious. Why did you want to see the light bar at night?
