Im curious what others' experience has been dealing with sales reps from Lucid. Mine has been one of the WORST of any car purchase/lease process.

I've been ghosted by two sales reps throughout the process. I've found them unresponsive. I'm at a point where I'm wanting to move forward with a lease and I can't get a call back for them to TAKE MY MONEY.

First screen shot is me reaching back out after sales person said they would get back to me regarding inventory. Never did. Unclear to me what happened. Second of me making attempts to reach second person after explicitly saying "lets lock this car down."

Have also called. Its madness. How do I bump this up to Lucid HR or something...

Get more salespeople or more responsive people...

Where are you located and do you have a nearby Lucid Studio? Calling the studio can get around this type of problem. Depending on location, some forum members may be able to recommend an SA.

I think he is in Philadelphia.
It’s hit or miss for me. Costa Mesa does a great job - when I can reach them. Sometimes messages go unreturned for service, just have to keep trying until you get someone.

Im based in Philly and the nearest studio is in Jersey. I did reach out to them before and got an email back, saying so sorry will have them reach out to you shortly. We'll see.

When I signed my lease back in January I dealt with their sales team out of California. Super responsive and helpful throughout the process. (Assuming he's in the PHL area) Now that Lucid can sell in PA, I wonder if there's a new local sales team that's still getting up to speed?

No, these guys are remote, operating out of California. Not sure what to make of it.

Gee, sorry you had that experience. Glad you stuck with it to get the grey with stealth. Great combo! I suspect you will enjoy the ownership experience much more than than leasing experience. Look on the bright side, its better this way than the other way around! I have 52K on my 2022 Air GT and love it. Best car I have ever owned. Back when I got mine (probably in the first 1,000 on the road), the sales team was pretty personal back then because I do not think that they had many sales to manage. For all of us it is great that the sales have increased steadily for Lucid. Now they need to build up the sales support team to match demand. Welcome!

I had a great experience with my sales team. They even picked me up at the airport when I flew to pick up the car. I sent you a direct message with some more information.

Yep, me too. Vincent Wu is the rep that ghosted me and it took some doing to actually get assigned to someone else (they kept trying to tell me they'd send this guy a message and get him to respond and he never did). When I tried to go with a referral someone else recommended I was told they didn't service my area. CS eventually assigned me to someone besides Vincent and that person was helpful.

There's no way these people work on commission as they couldn't care less if a sale is made.

Ghosting should never happen. Perhaps they inadvertently missed your email in the hundreds they get everyday.

You would hope so but based on the number of times this happened to me with different reps it would seem improbable...

They really need to shape up, I think they're losing business by not tracking performance and these outcomes. I almost went a different direction but I really believe in the technology and innovation that Lucid is bringing to the industry. If I wasn't a nerd whose into that I would've gona with Polestar or something cheaper and easier where the customer experience was what I would expect.

That is a sucky experience. My SA has been great. Very responsive--even to emails well after business hours. However the OP's experience isn't unique. Sounds like SA experiences can be very hit or miss.
