I had noticed this a few times over the life of the vehicle (19K miles now) and never connected it to the specific road I was traveling. I’ve now managed to replicate the issue when traveling on a specific road near a local airport. The cockpit panel flickers. To a lesser extent the rightmost panel of the dashboard also does. Lucid is aware. I’m mostly curious if anyone has experienced this around airports.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind ???????

Update: while waiting in traffic on the specific road right next to the airport, I could see, as the radar would turn around the flickering on my display would happen to coincide when the direction of the antenna.

I’ve sent videos to Lucid but have heard nothing.

I wonder what the implications are with inadequate shielding/interference and whether any of this is related to my ongoing difficulties with reliably unlocking the car with phone or fob (as in every couple of tries it takes a full minute for the door handles to pop out, even after I press the door handle in).

Hmmm... The car picks up radar... 🤔

Maybe the car actually flies? I have an uncontrollable urge to check the Lucid store and see if they are selling wings as an add-on option! Next OTA might include Airspace Pilot instead of Highway Pilot lol

Yes, it does!!!
Not only doe it Glitch. Mine glitches badly!Mine glitches to such a point that the entire screen does'nt work for as far as .75 miles to 1.25 miles away from the radar dish. Because I work on a military base it is a real problem for me. It affect my car on the expressway on the way to work, on the bas, around the base, near the city airport, anywhere near any other city. I've taken into service over 3 times to get it taken care of with no luck. I'm going to take it to another service center in hopes to get it fixed but I'm going to have to get it addressed as it has become a safety issue. I have taken, photos and video. It does get worse with rain or dense fog.

Out of curiosity, what model year is your car? Just wondering as it seems like 2025 added more shielding in general.

For what it's worth, I'm outside DC. I drive right by airports, military bases, the Pentagon, etc. daily and haven't ever seen anything like that. Just to say it's not systemic and hopefully can be fixed.

Lucid addressed this for me, albeit after some back and forth.

Here is a snapshot from the work order with serial numbers redacted (probably overreacting there but ya never know).

Hope it helps.

A friend of mine had this with his brand new Mercedes. He passed the runway of Frankfurt Airport here in Germany on the Autobahn and his engine would switch off at 150 km/h. Obviously, he wasn't too happy about this, the traffic being somewhat heavy. He turned around at the next exit and drove back, and voila, the same problem. Mercedes replaced the onboard computer just as Lucid did in your case.
